Ohio - A large island amusement park similar to Cedar Point, possibly during a Halloween event. Your target and several of his employees have rented out the park for the day. Some assassination opportunities include: making a rollercoaster derail when your target is taking a private ride, drop tower malfunction, poisoned margarita served at the restaurant next to the beach section, disguising as a haunted house attraction monster, Ferris wheel sniping, cutting the brakes to a go-kart, starting a carousel at full speed before the target gets on his horse, beating the target to death with a whack-a-mole hammer at the arcade, poisoned cotton candy, disguising as a clown and concealing a bomb inside of a balloon, etc.
New Jersey - a large zoo. Kill opportunities include: well, it’s a zoo. You can imagine the possibilities.
Bruges - the beautiful, scenic city of Bruges, Belgium. I imagine many opportunities related to the city’s canals and its archaic architecture. Possibly with some subtle references to the 2008 dark comedy “In Bruges”.
Zurich - a luxury train in Switzerland. I dunno I just think the layout of a train could make for a very interesting and challenging map.
South Pacific Islands - this mission takes place on a cruise ship which is hosting a hard rock & heavy metal music festival. One of the targets being a member of one of the bands performing. Possible kill opportunities: “pyrotechnics failure”, disguising as the band’s guitarist to get backstage and bludgeon the target to death with your “axe”, drowning the target while he’s in a hot tub waiting for his groupies to show up, causing a slot machine in the yacht’s casino to electrocute your target by messing with its wires, engaging in a rigged game of Russian Roulette in some shady secret room near the casino, making a lighting fixture crash down onto the target during his concert, etc.
Utah - a ski resort up in the mountains. Your targets have rented the resort privately for a couple’s vacation leaving only them, their guards, and those who work on the grounds of the lodge. Make sure that it’s one vacation they won’t live to forget. Kill opportunities: making a cable car or ski lift plummet to the ground, burying a bomb in the snow and detonating once a target snowboards or skis into its vicinity, throwing a propane tank down into the fireplace of the lodge’s common room, disguising as a loggelumberjack and making a large tree land on the target, disguising as a logger to gain access to a chainsaw, feeding a target into a woodchipper (Fargo style lol), poisoning a milkshake the couple orders at the lodge’s diner so that their romantic mutual drinking kills two birds with one stone, sneaking into the targets’ room and rubbing bear bait into the husband’s hunting clothes before he goes on a hunting trip in the nearby woods, etc.

Anytime we go out of town, Reddit is always a major help with what to see and where to go. So, I like to give a little feedback on the weekends/trips/vacations. We try to keep it as positive as possible unless there is something that needs to be addressed. There is too much negativity in life and being from Cleveland, we aren't immune to harsh criticism.
FRIDAY
We got in around 2:00 PM, a little bit later than anticipated. As we do, we drove around downtown, checked out the buildings, baseball stadium, and architecture. I'm an Engineer, so checking out the City is always fun for me.
After, we headed to Mirror Lake at Eden Park to fly the drone. Eden Park is great. We spent a ton of time there this weekend.
From there, we checked into the hotel and headed straight to Kings Island and arrived around 5:00 PM. Being from Cleveland, Cedar Point is only an hour away. We hadn't been to Kings Island since we were kids, so it was fun to see it again. It really reminded us of Geauga Lake - our favorite park from our childhood. We spend a weekend at Cedar Point every year - as well as going 1 or 2 other times per year - and we were getting a little jaded with it. Kings Island provided some nice perspective and it was a welcome change to only wait in 15 minute lines as opposed to 1-2 hour lines. We stayed until 10:00 PM and watched the fireworks from the parking lot.
After Kings Island, we went to Rhinegiest. I didn't realize how big the brewery was. Truth is probably one of my Top 5 beers. We had a couple encounters on the way in and out of the brewery, but as I said, we like to keep these posts positive.
After Rhinegiest, we popped into a couple bars around our hotel for a drink or 2 before retiring for the night.
SATURDAY
The weather was going to be touch and go all day, so our plans got a little changed around.
We started the morning/afternoon with Goodfellas/Wiseguys. What a gem. The pizza and sauces were great and the bourbon bar was fantastic. We loved the look/feel inside there and the food was great. Cleveland is really missing a good pizza-by-the-slice joint.
From there, we walked around that little hipster district and popped in some shops and stores. Hopefully that area can really pick up and take off.
From there, we wanted to walk off some of the pizza and sauce, so we headed back to Eden Park. Through the drizzle, we spent most of the time at Twin Lakes and Chatfield Memorial. We like to take some time and just enjoy views on a bench. I read up on the little historical plaques (which I loved). Once it really started to rain, we went to the Krohn Conservatory. It was a nice little botanical garden and cheap. We ended up flying the drone at Stand Pipe and Pump Station... 2 really cool buildings.
We made our way back to the hotel to get cleaned up. We checked out Sundry & Vice for cocktails before the concert. A really nice atmosphere inside and the drinks were solid. The name escapes me, but I got their signature - award winning - honey bourbon drink? Followed by a classic old fashioned. My SO got a dirty martini.
The evening was spent at the JACK Casino and Martina McBride concert. I'm not a country fan to say the least, but the JACK was nice. My S.O. wanted to gamble... so, I helped her play Black Jack and she did great, she was so excited and it ended up paying for our hotel stay.
We ended the night by going to a bar by the hotel and getting some food to take back to the room.
SUNDAY
We tried to get up early and check out the water front, but man we were a little bit tired. We couldn't get into any of the breakfast places (Hang Over Easy, Tucker's, Hathaways). We ended up going back to the Goodfella's neighborhood to eat. We stopped in the macaroon shop and smore shop. Both were really good. I hope they can sustain.
We made our way down to Smale Park. What a great investment. The City has done a tremendous job with that park. Due to the stadiums and compass interference, flying the drone was very difficult and decided against it. We moved further east, checked out the Armleder park. We were able to fly the drone, but kept losing signal due to being so low in the bowl. I wasn't able to get the shots I wanted, but still got some shots. We then moved to the Friendship park to drain the rest of the battery. Right as we flew, a bunch of movers came to tear down a bunch of tents and chairs... so the shots weren't great.
I would have liked to use 1 more battery worth near the parks, but with the humidity, heat, and being worn out, we weren't about to get as many shots/videos as we would have liked.
The highlights were definitely Goodfellas and the waterfront. We have been to a lot of different cities and it becomes incredibly frustrating to see the development and emphasis on the waterfront. Being from Cleveland, we have Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga River, and maybe 5% of it is developed. Cuyahoga County and Cleveland has a long history of being corrupt... but kudos to Cincinnati for developing it. They did a great job and really enhances the Bengals and Reds facilities and puts a great face on Ohio from Kentucky.
Your city definitely has a mini-New York City vibe to it. With the street cars, 1-ways, and street signs/lights, it definitely gave us a New York City impression.
Our only real complaint is the traffic. I can't believe all those 1-ways are necessary. It was so frustrating. You could be a block away from your destination, but would take 10 minutes to get there.
All-in-all, it was a fun trip. We got to do just about everything we set out to do - besides have breakfast at a mom and pop diner. We would have like to see Urban Artifact or MadTree, but from the comments, we avoided those areas. Thanks for all the suggestions/tips. I hope I can return the favor (I'm active on the Cleveland subreddit) if you ever head up north.

Part 1
Ever since being back from the axe murderer house, weird, creepy, unexplainable things have been happening to me and my friends. At first it wasn't happening very often. But now things are happening almost daily to each of us.
I think a good place to start is in the summer of 2010. Thinking back, I don't really remember anything out of the ordinary happening before this, to me anyway. Alex, Zack, Ryan and I were planning another summer trip, and no, we were not going anywhere near Villisca, IA this time. We had decided to go to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio.
For those who don't know, Cedar Point is a huge amusement park. One of the biggest in the country. We had a great time there. We stayed for two days which was just enough time to ride everything at least once.
We went out to eat somewhere after the park closed, so by the time we got back to the hotel it was around 11:00 that night. We were staying at some dumpy Comfort Inn in what seemed like a bad part of town. As we were walking to our room, I noticed someone looking at us from a balcony. It was dark out so I couldn't see very well, but I am pretty sure it was a girl. She was standing on her balcony just staring at us. It was definitely a little unsettling, but none of my friends seemed to notice and I didn't say anything.
When I woke up the next morning, Alex told me I was sleep talking last night. Of course I thought this was funny and asked him what I was saying. He said I just kept saying "we gotta go back" over and over again for probably 30 minutes. He said it was very clear sounding which I thought was odd. I had been told that I sleep talk quite a bit, but usually people tell me they cannot understand what I am saying.
After talking to my friends a bit I got on my phone, which is a normal ritual for me as I am sure it is for many of you. I type in my passcode and the Villisca Axe murder website is open on my phone. I immediately showed my friends my phone. After discussing for a while we came to the conclusion that I must have done that in my sleep somehow. Again, it's not really out of the ordinary for me since I had gotten on my phone and sent texts in my sleep before. It just didn't seem right to me though. I was still creeped out about it but didn't say anything else.
We drove home that day and everything was normal. Everything seemed normal for a while after that.
The next incident took place in November of 2012. Alex and I were on our way to a nearby Casino, roughly 40 minutes away from where we live. We were driving on a highway going about 65 mph. It was probably midnight or close to it. We were basically in the middle of nowhere. Alex was driving, I was doing something on my phone in the passenger seat, when I hear Alex yell "WHAT THE FUCK!" I look up in time to see a woman walking across the road in a white gown. It was about 20 degrees outside, and this woman was walking with no shoes and no coat. It all happened so fast, Alex literally had to turn into the other lane to avoid hitting her.
Alex drove a bit further and pulled over. "What the fuck is she doing? I almost hit her!" He screamed. We were both shaken up by nearly killing this woman. "Should we see if she needs help?" I asked. I thought it was so odd for someone to be walking at this time of the night with no shoes and no coat. Nothing but a white gown..... A white gown..... Alex and I looked at each other and I think we were both thinking the same thing. At that point I look back. I didn't see anything. "Maybe we should get going" I said. We both kept looking behind us, not really knowing what to expect. "Yeah, let's get out of here" Alex says. We turn around and there she fucking was. Standing maybe 10 feet in front of the car.
I looked at Alex and he was looking straight ahead, not moving. I looked back and the girl was starting to walk toward us, very slowly. I punched Alex in the arm and said GO! He finally snapped out of it and was able to drive around her. We skipped the casino and went straight home, me shaking the whole way.
That night we stayed up all night talking about what had just happened. We decided to call Ryan and Zack to see if anything had happened to them recently. We had not talked to either of them for a while, Ryan had moved to North Carolina in 2010 and Zack had moved to a different city about an hour away. Of course neither answered. It was well past midnight so they were both likely sleeping.
Alex left my house around 4:00 AM that morning. I tried to get to sleep but I couldn't stop thinking about what had just happened. Who the fuck was that girl? What was she doing in the middle of nowhere? Was it the same girl from the house? All of these questions kept running through my mind. I had to work at noon that day and ended up just mindlessly watching Netflix until it was time to get ready.
About 3 weeks had passed since seeing the girl on the highway. I had still not been able to get ahold of Zack or Ryan. They were likely just busy, I remember thinking. I had just gotten off work one night and was on my way home when my phone rang. It was Zack.
"Hello?" I said as I answered the phone. "Are you home?" Zack asks. I could tell he sounded weird. I hadn't talked to him in probably a year and that's the first thing he says to me? "I will be in a few minutes" I said. "What's up?" "Can I come over? I need to talk to you. I tried calling Alex but he didn't answer." "Alright. I'm just about home."
I pulled up to my house a few minutes later. Zack was already there, standing on my porch. I lead the way inside while trying to carry a conversation with him. It was so weird. Him and I were great friends all of our lives. I remember feeling so weird just being around him.
We got inside and I offered him a beer, which he shockingly turned down. I never knew Zack to turn down a beer before. We went in the living room and sat down. "What's up?" I asked. "I can't fucking sleep man!" He says. "I haven't been able to in weeks. Months maybe. I've lost fucking count by now. I feel like I'm being followed wherever I go. Every night I hear tapping on my windows."
My heart was sinking as he was telling me all this. I could only hope he was playing a joke. Zack had always been the jokester of our group growing up. But all things considered, I unfortunately did not think he was joking this time. "I had been dealing with this for a while. But after last night, I just can't take it anymore."
"What happened last night?"
"My roommate woke me up around 3:00 AM. He said I was screaming someone's name, over and over."
"Whose name were you screaming?"
"Ina Stillinger."

We Are Porter County Series: 9AM-5PM July 6th at the Porter County Museum. "We are Porter County" will highlight the formation of the county from its founding in 1836 to present day. Held on the first Thursday of each month.
Shakespeare in the Park: The Taming of the Shrew: July 7th-8th at Central Park Plaza. North East Indiana

Angola Balloons Aloft: July 7th-8th at the Angola High School. Hot air balloon competition featuring special-shaped balloons plus 30 additional balloons. The Lettermen: 8PM July 8th at Foellinger Outdoor Theater. The All-American family friendly trio The Lettermen consists of Donovan Tea, Bobby Poynton, and founding Member Tony Butala. In the 1960s and 1970 The Lettermen scored over 25 chart hit singles including “Theme from “A Summer Place,’” ‘Goin’ Out of My Head / Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” and “Hurt So Bad.” The Lettermen have recorded in fourteen languages, and received eighteen gold records.
Open Streets: 11AM-3PM July 9th at Downtown Fort Wayne. Open Streets Fort Wayne will temporarily close the street to vehicles and open it to walkers, bike riders, roller skaters and fun activities such as giant inflatable games for kids. The event will allow residents to see Fort Wayne in a unique way, get some exercise and socialize with new and old friends. This year’s Open Streets Fort Wayne connects the neighborhoods of West Central, East Central, LaRez, Hoagland Masterson and Williams Woodland with the Central Business District on Calhoun Street. The event area goes from the St. Marys River south on Calhoun to Williams Street. In between there are activities that connect Berry, Wayne, Ewing and Barr Streets. Open Streets is family-friendly and free for everyone. Along the Open Street route attendees will find Activity Hubs featuring live music, golf, Fort Wayne Derby Girls, soccer, and many other activities. A full list of activities will be announced soon. Additionally, several businesses normally closed on Sunday will be open.

Fireworks & Music in Rising Sun: 7-11PM July 3rd at Rising Sun Riverfront Park. The City of Rising Sun presents free fireworks and live music in downtown Rising Sun, IN, on Monday, July 3. A band performs from 7-10 p.m. at the Rising Sun Riverfront Park along the Ohio River waterfront at Front Street*. Fireworks are 10-10:30 p.m. Food is available for sale by the Rising Sun Lion's Club. Senior LPGA Championship: July 5th-12th at The Pete Dye Golf Course. The Senior LPGA Championship is coming to French Lick! A week long celebration of women's golf will start at the Donald Ross Golf Course on July 6th and will end with the Inaugural Senior LPGA Championship at the Pete Dye Golf Course on July 12th. The field of 81 players will feature a collection of past greats in the women 's game including LPGA Hall-of-Fame members, current LPGA members and major champions over the age of 45.

Beginning Birding Program: 9-1030AM Saturdays through July 29th at the Great Marsh Trail parking lot. Join a ranger and fellow birding enthusiasts every Saturday morning. No birding experience is required. A spotting scope and binoculars will be provided. The program will start at the southern gravel parking lot followed by a short hike to the Great Marsh observation deck to look for herons, egrets, ducks and other birds of the marsh. If you arrive late, simply hike to the observation deck to join the vent. The hike will be offered every Saturday in July.

• Chesterton

Pinhook Bog Open House: 12-3PM Saturdays July 1-29 at Pinhook Bog. Take a self-guided hike into the amazing Pinhook Bog at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Rangers and volunteers stationed along the trail will help you understand this unique rem ant of the last ice age that is filled with carnivorous plants, orchids and many other interesting plants. Please allow about one hour to walk the trail and tour the quaking bog. This hike will be offered every Saturday in July.

• Miller

Miller Woods Hike: 130-330PM Sundays July 2-30 at Miller Woods. Join a ranger for a hike through Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore;s beautiful Miller Woods. The hike starts at the National Lakeshore's Paul H. Douglas center and travels though varied habitats including rare and beautiful black oak savanna and offers incredible views of Lake Michigan and Chicago. These hikes will be offered every Sunday in July.

• Munster

Sunday Market in the Park: 8AM-2PM every Sunday through October at Centennial Park Clubhouse. Bailly Cemetery Hike & Bailly/Chellberg Open House: 12-130PM Sundays July 2-30 at Bailly Homestead & Chellberg Farm. Join rangers for an afternoon exploring two of our historic homesteads. Meet at Noon in the Bailly/Chellberg parking lot for an informative 90-minute hoe to the Bailly Cemetery. Upon returning, explore the interiors of the Chellberg Farmhouse and the historic Bailly Homestead from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. Learn about early settlers and famers who came to this region in the1800s. You can also see the farm animals who have recently returned to the Chellberg farm. The hike will be offered every Sunday in July
Mount Baldy Hike: 10-1130AM Sundays July 2-30 at Indiana Dunes Visitor Center. Join a ranger for a special guided morning hike along a trail on the western edge to the top of famous Mount Baldy. Even though the area is closed for general public access, this ranger-led tour allows visitors to experience the beauty and spectacular views from the tallest dune in the national lakeshore. This hike will be offered every Sunday in July. You must pre-register for the tour by calling 219-395-1882.

Summer Rhapsody Music Festival: Thursday nights until August 31 at The Porter Health Amphitheatre in Central Park Plaza. You Had Me at Merlot Walking Wine Barrel Art Tour: All summer in Downtown Auburn. Walk the beautiful tree lined streets of Historic Downtown Auburn and enjoy 20 Wooden Wine Barrels transformed into unique works of art by local and regional artists. This outdoor walking tour exhibit is juried with awards and art auction held each year at the end of summer. This annual exhibit has included many different art objects over the past eight years, from giant paintings on easels to garden benches. This year's exhibit celebrates the many wineries of this area with its wooden wine barrels. Walking Tour maps are available at no cost in most downtown businesses

Lake City Skiers Water Ski Show: 6:30-7:30PM every Sunday and Tuesday at Hidden Lake. The shows are a themed production including music and costumes with an announcer to guide you through the action. You will see Extreme jump acts, An all girl Ballet line, Barefoot water skiing, Swivel skiing, doubles routines and human pyramids just to name a few. The show last about 1 hour followed by a meet and greet with the skiers. The Lake City Skiers have been providing fun family entertainment since 1989 and are Indiana's only competitive show ski team holding 4 National Championships in 2006, 2007, 2014, and 2016.
