Since the initial Heart of Deimos release, you’ve delved into the putrid hills and caverns of the Cambion Drift and found a familiar place with the Entrati. As Deimos continues to fester within the Origin System, its insides twist and turn to expose new growth and life!
In this update, Deimos: Arcana uproots newly unearthed Isolation Vaults in The Underground of the Cambion Drift. The new Necramech, Bonewidow , with sword wielding weaponry awaits you in these unexplored rancid tunnels.
Prepare your Tranq Rifle and aim strong, the Undazoa and Nexifera have been spotted occupying the rotting landscape of the Cambion Drift. Remember to look both ways before crossing the Exocrine; the new Deimos Mitosid can attack at any angle!
Arm yourself with a slew of Infested weapons , build new Infested Kitguns , shatter enemies with the Gara Kaleida Collection , and much more with Deimos: Arcana!

NEW DEIMOS ISOLATION VAULT BOUNTIES:
The Cambion Drift Underground you’ve come to recognize swells with new areas to discover.
Mother has 3 new Isolation Vault Bounties to complete! These new Isolation Vault Bounties become available after completing the initial Isolation Vault tier, with the respective Mother then offering the new Vault Bounty. As you unlock these new Vault Bounties, the difficulty will increase to match the prerequisite Isolation Vault and rewards will differ per Bounty.
In addition, 4 new Entrati Vault ruins await you in Isolation Vault Bounties!

General Isolation Vault Changes:

• Removed the Vome/Fass cycle reset on the Isolation Vault Bounties tiers.
  
  • Oftentimes the Vome/Fass cycle reset during an Isolation Vault Bounty was understandably confusing, for new players especially, and was reported as more of a “bug” than a feature - so we’ve removed its effect on Isolation Vault Bounty tiers! Also, with the addition of the new Isolation Vault Bounties, the time it may take squads/solo players to complete them all could exceed the Vome/Fass cycles.
• Increased the speed of Loid/Otak in the Isolation Vault!
  
• Reduced Loid/Otak’s base Health by 37.5% to compensate for the speed increase.
  
  • The slow speed of Loid/Otak was common feedback to be addressed, but increasing the speed made their journey too easy as enemies barely put a scratch into them as they attempted to catch up.
• Changed Otak/Loids defend HUD marker to the standard yellow version to help differentiate between Allies and enemies.
  
• Adjusted Loid/Otaks path to create a more evenly spaced consistent length path to avoid a long slow return to the Vault when all 4 Generators are activated, or when clusters of Generators are very close together.
  
• Adjusted Isolation Vault Transmission flow at the very start to speed things up a bit and get into the phases a little faster.
  
• Scintillants have a chance to respawn in Isolation Vault Bounties.
  
  • The new Isolation Vault Bounties bring you back through the previously completed Vaults and further into the Underground. Having Scintillant respawn grants another kick at the can even if Scintillant was already found in a Vault.
• Esophages in Isolation Vault Bounties now have a press and hold context action to avoid accidentally interacting, and thus having to go all the way back down to do the Vault Generators.
  
• Rebalanced enemy Voidrig (and the upcoming Bonewidow) Isolation Vault fights for a more fair experience that embraces the precedent set with Kuva Liches:
  
  • *Enemy Voidrig & Bonewidow Necramechs now have the ‘Lich’ treatment with vulnerability to Status Effects, meaning you can now apply Status Effects to Necramechs! Additionally, certain damage immunities and diminishing returns for Warframe abilities have been added to balance this out.
    • The damage immunities apply to movement abilities, such as Banshee’s Sonic Boom, to prevent yeeting the Necramech into the sun. The diminishing returns are present to also prevent 1HKOs - on par with Kuva Liches.
  • Increased the cooldown time when the Voidrig (and Bonewidow) cast their invulnerability shield while in their “armless” phase.
    • Necramechs are intended to have shorter cooldowns while missing both arms. The cooldown reduction was too high however and you’d often see Voidrig Necramechs recasting their shield within seconds!
• Added an objective marker to the Bait Device if your Bait throw missed the monster-door.

Infested Research!
Curious behaviors have been observed of the Infested interacting with the organic fluids in the underground caves. Subvert the fluid extraction device and throw it back at them to collect samples!
Cracks in Deimos!
There is a mysterious mist wafting throughout the area, driving the creatures within mad! Negate the effects of the mist with the Emitter Unit and seal the mist fissures before the creature's attempt to open the fissures.

NEW NECRAMECH - BONEWIDOW:
This fearsome Necramech, fashioned in honor of the Entrati matriarch, is a robust front-line fighter. Favoring armor and health over shield strength, Bonewidow can grab and hurl enemies, deploy a heavy shield for personal defense, and cleave through opposing ranks with a massive warblade.
Abilities:
MEATHOOK
Skewer and hold a target. Use again to hurl the victim damaging them and anyone near the impact site.
SHIELD MAIDEN
Raise Bonewidow’s shield to block incoming forward damage.
FIRING LINE
Sweep surrounding enemies into the line of fire with a force beam.
EXALTED IRONBRIDE
Summon a devastating exalted blade.

MORGHA
Blast through enemies with a double-barreled shot of energized slugs. This siphons their life essence which is then used to generate the secondary fire’s massive air-burst mortar. The ancient Entrati weapon was built for Necramechs but also functions as an Archgun.

Theorem Demulcent
Standing in a zone created by a Residual Arcane increases weapon damage by *12%/s stacking up to 15x. Effect persists for 20s upon leaving the zone.

NEW DEIMOS ENEMY - MITOSID
It takes two to tango, Tenno. Previously known as “Splitter,” the clever Mitosid splits in twain to divide and conquer as the Diploid. Both the Basal and Feral Diploid make up for what they lack in maneuverability with what they have in appendages!

We anticipated shipping a Mitosid Mod Set with Deimos: Arcana. After review, these Mods needed a bit more time in the oven, and we wanted to make this clear for those who may have come across them on the Test Cluster in any form to explain their fate!. Grandmother has a new ‘Mend the Family’ option that allows you to provide Deimos Resources for Tokens of each Entrati member.

• Here with Grandmother, ‘Mend the Family’ gives you another option for those spare Resources, Gems, and Fish Parts to put towards Tokens outside of their usual Entrati member role. • Martyr Symbiosis: Drains and stores 20 Health from corpses within 25m up to 20% of their Master’s Health. Sacrifices itself to heal their Master if they fall below 10% Health.

Predasite

• Maggot Summoner: Maggot Summoner: In combat, spit up a maggot every 15s. The maggot latches onto the nearest enemy and provokes other enemies within 40m to attack them. It then explodes dealing 400 Viral Damage within 10m.

Grandmother has gotten her hands on a new Infested K-Drive and it can be yours by completing each of her Races out in the Cambion Drift! Once you’ve acquired the Ferverspine, Gristlebuck, Nodulite, and Steeba parts visit your friend Roky in Fortuna to build the Infested K-Drive!
DEIMOS QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES:
Tenno have spent a lot of time with the Entrati family, and have shared valuable insights on how to improve their systems! Deimos Arcana brings many sought after quality-of-life improvements:

• Vome/Fass time indicators now appear when viewing the map inside the Necralisk hub!
  
  • Cetus and Fortuna have been given the same treatment.

• The mining drop rate of Thaumica has been doubled! We’ve also Reduced the chance of getting Namalon while Mining in the Cambion Drift so that the chance of getting Thaumica is significantly increased.
  
  • Both Necrathene and Thaumica were similarly rare, but Thaumic Distillate is used in a wider variety of Blueprints, so expect to see it appear more often from yellow mineral deposits.
• Son’s Conservation tasks have been made more rewarding and accessible! There are two main factors to this change:
  
  • Higher quality Conservation captures will now provide better rewards, as they do in our other Free Roam landscapes. Scoring a “Good” capture will now provide 2 animal capture Tags instead of 1, and “Perfect” captures will award 3 Tags!
  • Son’s Token exchange has been reorganized, based on player inventory statistics. Smaller offerings will require more commonly found creatures, and larger offerings with more Tokens will require creatures that are harder to come by.
• Necramechs will now increase max level by 2 for each Forma applied, up to Rank 40!
  
  • With twelve Mod slots to fill, borrowing the Polarity mechanics introduced with the Paracesis made perfect sense. This change also prompted a discussion to address the mission restrictions with Necramech leveling (Free Roam only). As a result, we’ve increased the Shared Affinity Range in Free Roam missions (see below for more details). We still have plans to allow deployable Necramech’s in normal mission modes at a later date - stay tuned!
  • If you have already reached Rank 30 on your Necramech prior to this update, you will retain the full Mastery Points for it. You are still free to level it to Rank 40 to unlock further Mod slots!
• Enabled Shield-Gating for summoned Necramechs! You’ll now experience the brief invulnerability period when your Necramech Shield breaks.
  
• Universal Medallions can now be traded in the Necralisk at Grandmother for Entrati Standing and Loid for Necraloid Standing.
  
• The Latrox Une Bounty mission has received a balance pass to address both the length this mission takes and the Bonus being too challenging compared to others:
  
  • Doubled the Drone Shields Health.
  • The Drone Shield now regenerates after being emptied.
  • Samples now drop at a faster rate.
  • Less samples are required to complete the mission.

FREE ROAM SHARED AFFINITY CHANGE:
We’ve increased the Shared Affinity Range in Free Roam missions from 50 meters to 250 meters! When implementing the change to make Necramech’s level up to 40, it prompted the conversation of Necramech leveling and its restriction to Free Roam missions. With the addition of Bonewidow, it felt appropriate to dial the Shared Affinity Range up for these much larger tilesets. While it’s always ideal to stick together, we hope the 250 meter range allows you to both level up your Necramech faster and venture a bit farther in the landscape.
FISHING & CONSERVATION:
Undazoa and Nexifera now prowl across Deimos. Help Son study these new species of Infested wildlife!

UNDAZOA
These peculiar creatures inhabit the exocrine, consuming contaminants and depositing their eggs. They will not instigate an attack, but if you provoke an Undazoa, be wary of each variant’s unique defense.
*Acquire the Undazoa Echo-Lure and Pheromone Gland from Son’s Offerings!
NEXIFERA
These heavy creatures occupy caves, poised to drop from the ceiling onto unassuming victims. Each variant’s landing has a unique effect. Be quick if you hope to catch a Nexifera before it ascends! They will burrow into the ceiling to make a quick escape.
*Similar to Velocipods, the Nexifera is an ambient encounter creature you can find out in the Cambion Drift.

The Endocrine are home to 2 new species of Fish! Find the elusive Flagellocanth and Lobotriscid to bring back to Daughter!
FLAGELLOCANTH These specimens were originally parasites, breeding inside the wyrm-guts of Fass and scattered across Deimos in the debris of his explosive demise. They are drawn to his light. Processed Fass Residue is required to attract the Flagellocanth!
LOBOTRISCID
A muscular, three-tailed fish, the Lobotriscid trawls through Exocrine vapor across the surface of Deimos when Vome is dominant.
FISHING & CONSERVATION CHANGES & FIXES:

• Enabled Imprinting and breeding for Predasites and Vulpaphyla.
  
  • Mutagens and Antigens are inherited through breeding, allowing pets to stack their benefits.
  • Predasites and Vulpaphyla can only be named when Gilded, so naming after hatching is skipped.
  • Predasites and Vulpaphyla can not be cross bred with non-modular pets.
  • Imprints of Predasites and Vulpaphyla can only be taken when the pet is Gilded.
• Disabled Conservation Tranq and Track during the Heart of Deimos quest.
  
  • When it was enabled you wouldn't have been able to catch anything or see anything on map, but there was a chance to just happen across a start point.
• Companion Predasites and Vulpaphylas now have their own description, seperate from the wild ones in the Cambion Drift.
  
• Improvements to trails to address some of the more drastic upwards jumps required to follow the path.
  
• Made a bunch of updates to Lure sounds and mix effects. Added more variations to scat burst sound (yum). Also made adjustments to transmission timing.
  
• Increased number of Avichea spawned at Call Points from 1 to 2-4 and improved spawn position.
  
• Increased the number of Cryptilex spawned at Call Points from 1 to 2-4.
  
• Expanded number of available call points in the Magna, Infested Seraglio, Undulatum, and Albrechts Prospect areas.
  
• Added height arrow indicators to Conservation markers.
  
  • This reduces the number of call points that end up in caves. For the ones that do spawn in caves, the height arrow indicator should relieve that confusion.
• Added debuffs to Deimos animals when they’re Wounded by Infested and reduced max Health on wild Predasites and Vulpaphylas so you’re not waiting around for Infested to wound the animals.
  
• Added Vome/Fass cycle information to Deimos Conservation creatures in the Codex!
  
• Fixed losing all control functions for a short period of time after throwing a Fishing Spear - most commonly experienced in Cambion Drift.
  
• Fixed cases of issues with Avichea circling movement used when found ambiently and when they arrived at Call Points that would cause them to float way up into the sky.
  
• Fixed Cryptilexes missing their Conservation drone pickup animation, which created an animation pop after capturing.
  
• Fixed Conservation start points not regenerating on Deimos which would prevent certain encounters from spawning.
  
• Fixed some Conservation call points spawning under the Endocrine.
  
• Fixed ambient spawns only spawning common fish and ignoring bait (fishing with the Spear out still worked as intended).
  
• Fixed Fishing after landscape time change not altering obtainable fish.

GENERAL DEIMOS CHANGES:

• *Necramechs (Bonewidow and Voidrig) now have a built-in vacuum!
  
• Necralisk Fast Travel UI now displays the respective Token for each Entrati member.
  

• Entrati Tokens you don’t have the required resources for will now appear greyed out in each Entrati member’s Token acquisition menu. Saving you from having to hover and view each Token individually to see if you have the resources needed.

• Added “Mother Tokens” next to the Token icon itself in Mother’s ‘Reward Details’ screen.

• Added “Requirements Met” category to the Necralisk vendors. Selecting this category will sort wares based on if you have the necessities to purchase it.
  
• Added “Expiry” and “Tokens” filters to the Necralisk vendors.
  
  • “Expiry” sorts Tokens by remaining time until they expire. Tokens expiring sooner will be sorted at the top of the list.
  • “Tokens” sorts Tokens by the amount in one purchase. In other words, the higher the number of Tokens in a single purchase the higher it will appear in the list.
• Added more idle Otak lines in the Necralisk when interacting with him.
  
• Added another race node to the Cambion Drift Abyssal Skim race to lead the player better.
  
• Increased the Deimos Juggernaut variants Affinity gain to 500.
  
  • This was done to be more consistent with the Deimos Saxum variants.
• Made slight updates to Son’s skin textures and fixed neck seam issues.
  
• Made slight revisions to Daughter’s textures to better match her head to her body.
  
• Enemies in the Cambion Drift will now have a blue energy FX applied to their weapons when Vome is alive and wyrming around.
  
• Added Deimos Leapers and Deimos Conservation animals to the Codex.
  
• Made improvements to the enemy pathing in tight underground areas in the Cambion Drift.
  
• Changed the number of Obelisks that appear in the Cambion Drift from 6 to 5.
  
  • With the introduction of the newest Bounties, we reviewed Obelisk spawn sites and saw that they were occupying vacant sites that we felt would be better used for new Bounty objectives! These sites were also difficult for enemies to maneuver and access, and they would often get stuck in the Obelisk shards.

NEW INFESTED WEAPONRY:
Your Arsenal is about to get a whole lot more sticky with a slew of new Infested weapons!
CATABOLYST
Splatter enemies with a short-range stream of corrosive bile. Upon reload, toss the ammo bladder as a grenade. The emptier the pistol’s ammo bladder, the more potent its damage.

PROBOSCIS CERNOS
A version of the Mutalist Cernos Bow, each arrow spawns a swarm of sticky appendages on impact. These tongue-like probes latch onto nearby unfortunates and drag them close before bursting into a mess of diseased goo.

PULMONARS
Take-hold of the malignant evolution of an ancient martial weapon with these Infested nunchaku. Pummel and infect with these two pulsating hunks of flesh connected by a ligament.

BUBONICO
This infested arm-cannon rapid-fires toxic terror on its enemies. Rain down a triple volley of explosive disease bladders from a distance, then move in for the kill by unloading a multi-shot barrage of toxic barbs with primary fire.

SPOROTHRIX
This long-distance sniper rifle fires a razor-sharp, virus-soaked barb that continues to attack its host before violently erupting in a spore-laden mist. Scoped headshots increase lethality.

ARUM SPINOSA

Many of these changes focus on enhancing the unique gameplay options that a Glaive can offer. We’ll start simple with throwing mechanics, and work our way up:
Heavy Attack (aka Glaive detonation) will now do more damage, more consistently! Damage numbers have been increased, and the area-of-effect falloff has been removed, meaning max damage no matter what part of the explosion hits an enemy. This should help encourage use of Glaives’ unique detonation functionality; another option to compliment swinging and throwing the weapon, allowing for massive bursts of damage when needed.
“Hold throw” mechanics now apply in Equipped Melee mode! When we added the ability to wield a Glaive alongside any one-handed secondary, we introduced a new system for throwing Glaives that was quicker and more intuitive. This modern system for both ground and air throwing has been applied to pure melee mode, making Glaives consistent no matter how they are used.

In “Glaive + Gun” mode, players must use the melee key to detonate the Glaive while in flight. With only the Glaive in hand, the alt fire button is no longer reserved for your secondary weapon, which allows for added flexibility - press alt fire for a Heavy Attack detonation, or tap melee for a simple recall
Glaive throws can now be performed while sliding! Tap to perform a regular spin attack, or hold to throw. An added level of flexibility to the Glaive playstyle.

Throw melee inputs can be “queued up”, one after the other! Also known as “buffering”, this means if you are holding a melee input as the Glaive returns to your hand, you will start charging another throw as soon as possible. With this change, a smooth gameflow emerges: throw a Glaive, hold melee as it returns, catch, release, repeat.

Glaives can now be thrown multiple times in a single jump! Limitations to this type of throw have been removed to allow more chained throws.
With all of these improvements, Glaive throwing and detonating should become a more prominent and viable way to use these weapons. But we’re only getting started!
Another feature that makes Glaives stand out from other melee weapons, is their ability to be wielded alongside a one-handed secondary. This “Glaive + Gun” mode is also getting a couple upgrades:
Melee stance combos are now available in Glaive + Gun mode! Using a weapon combo will no longer restrict your melee options and movement, making Glaives even more deadly.

Glaive + Gun mode now utilizes melee auto blocking when not aiming or firing! This feature introduced in recent melee system updates will now also apply to the weapon combo mode, offering the benefits of actively equipped melee while still keeping your secondary at the ready.
With all these changes combined, we hope Glaive gameplay will feel more fluid, fun and unique. To encourage exploration of these new mechanics, we are also making changes to Glaive Modding options, improving old Mods and introducing new choices for players to try!
Glaive Mod Power Throw has been given respective buffs:

• Increased Punch Through from 0.6 to 2m.
  
  • +2m Punch Through. On Consecutive Throw: +100% Throw Damage (up to maximum 3 stacks)
• Added 60% projectile speed.
  

This Mod will now be great for players who embrace the “catch and release” playstyle introduced by the changes to melee input queueing.
We also have two new Mods to help modify your playstyle even further…
Volatile Rebound: 100% Chance to explode on Bounce (Disables Punch Through).

Unlike a Heavy Attack, the explosions from these Mods do NOT consume your combo counter. Equip Volatile Rebound to inflict as much chaos as possible from a single throw, or Volatile Quick Return for rapid targeted strikes.

XAKU ROUND 2 CHANGES & FIXES:
We’ve been keeping tabs on the usual feedback channels to read and review your takes on Xaku in their updated form. We have been pleased to see that generally these changes have been enjoyed thus far, and that we’ve taken a step in the right direction. But as many have expressed, and to which we have found ourselves agreeing, our work is not done yet on this Community Warframe!
So here we are with a second round of changes based on the most standout and widely discussed points we saw strewn across the feedback hubs. Whether it's iterating on Round 1 or offering new insight on Xaku’s abilities, we thank you for sharing!
General Changes:

• Xaku's "The Lost" ability description will now include descriptions of "Accuse", "Deny", and "Gaze" within it.

Xata’s Whisper (Void Status Effect):

• Void damage’s Status Effect will now redirect projectiles to the body part it proc’d on.
  
  • How it will work: If you shoot at an enemy’s head with Xata’s Whisper enabled and proc, the bubble will redirect all projectiles to the head. If you shoot at the feet, it’ll be redirected to the feet, etc.! It is however possible that even if you proc on the head but then shoot at the lower part of the bubble it might hit the body on the way up to being redirected to the head.
  • This is a game wide change to Void Status Effect! Now that we have a Warframe that can harness Void damage at the click of a button, it has brought much focus to and discussion around its Status Effect. For those of you who are unfamiliar, in its current state it creates a bullet attractor bubble that directs all projectiles to the center of the enemy’s torso regardless of where it procs. Since Xata’s Whisper applies Void damage to all of their weapons, it was increasingly noticeable to Xaku players that the bubble’s current redirecting position prevents any attempt at enemy headshots until its duration expires. This is one of the main reasons for this change. Headshot disruption ultimately limits your damage output by removing the opportunity for headshot multipliers while it is active. Now, you will be able to use your headshotting skills to greater benefit, while also having generally more options to focus projectiles where desired. Note that regardless of where the Status Effect occurs, it will continue to prevent enemies from being able to shoot at you without having their projectiles redirected back to the center of the bubble.

Grasp of Lohk:

• Re-casting will now steal weapons up to the max number of affected targets.
  
  • How it will work: You will be able to re-cast up to the max number of targets that you can steal from. In other words, you can add to the current batch of weapons. For example, if your max target is set to 6, and you have 3 weapons active, Grasp of Lohk can be re-cast to “top up” to the remaining 3 weapon allowance. Newly grabbed weapons from re-casts will have independent durations from the previous batch - similar to Protea’s Blaze Artillery.
  • We made re-casting available in Round 1 and set it up to replace the entire current active batch of weapons. Our original reasoning was that this allowed for a ‘fresh’ cast to be made if an undesirable pull occurred. But what makes far more sense is to follow the precedent set by Nekros’ Shadows of the Dead. So now you can maintain your current floating auto-cannon sidekicks and re-cast to refill or top up to the max on command. This will give far more control in maintaining the max number of active weapons you can have at once.

I had heard of and trusted basically every site I signed up to. Some of the offers you can spend money on, but you don't have to. I prefer not to. For instance, you can pay £1.99 for a Graze box and 20Cogs rewards you £4. You always have around 5 offers to choose from so there's always an option to not spend any money.
I spent £1 on the lotto offer as the reward from 20Cogs is £7. Then I won a fiver! Boom.
You can complete more than one offer on each cog, but I advise doing that at the end once each cog is confirmed and Cog 20 is unlocked ready for cash out. Once you have completed 20cogs and cashed out you can continue to earn and cash out repeatedly as long as earnings are over £5. GREAT news! Since collecting my £169.98 I have earned a further £174.34!

It's definitely worth it for a slow but steady earner. I checked mine quickly for new offers each day and chose to complete a new cog roughly on a weekly basis. It works well on both phone and desktop.
I started on 15th August 2020 and received my first payment on 25th November 2020.
Info:

• Some cogs take 30 days to confirm, but most are pretty quick. However, this doesn't affect the speed you can move on. Once you have clicked the cog link the next cog unlocks. In theory, you can unlock all 20 cogs in one day and complete all the sign-ups, then just wait for them to confirm.
• Be sure to read the Cog T's & C's. They are very clear, very helpful, and placed right next to the Cog info: screenshot. In the example 20Cogs state: "Your monthly payment [to Great Magazines] will continue if you do not cancel your subscriptions. Subscriptions can be cancelled in the My Account section.". I love this as they actively help you in the T's&C's to cancel sign-ups and ensure you are not charged ongoing fees.
• Customer service are really helpful. One of my links went to a site that didn't work, I messaged them with info and screenshots and they apologised and turned my cog green. (Avoid the MrFreeSlots sign-up).
• Make sure to use an account that you can verify if needed, just like gambling sites they may ask for ID (driving license / passport / utility bill). They did for me because I was cheeky and tried to set up two accounts which you are not allowed to do. But they had no quibbles accepting it and I received the money 3 days later.

In the recent Aug 2020 BTO sales launch, I decided to apply for a 2 Room BTO as a single. I am detailing the process here in hope of helping other similar first timers trying to apply for a BTO flat. I thought a guide would be useful. Some of these may look like common sense but bear with me la.
Before applying, things to take note:

• Check on your eligibility to apply via the HDB website. The whole application process is outlined in the site. But there were still a few times I wished I had more guidance on the process. Single Citizen Scheme is only applicable for 2 room BTO in non mature estates.
  
• First timer singles applying for BTO flats need to pay $15K in addition to the flat price. The flat price may also be much higher than what is stated during the sales launch by anything from 10-30K depending on the unit your choose. Higher floors come at a premium, corner flats come at a premium, unblocked flats come at a premium and ofc bigger flats (47sqm vs 39sqm) cost about 20K more than the smaller ones which I feel is a bit wasteful for a hallway. But I'm quite giam siap lah lol. When you add 15K to it, that's quite a huge difference from the advertised sales launch price. That kind of price usually is for the low level (Eg level 4) 39 square metre flats that are blocked & corridor unit. Do your homework and work out your finances (what kind of loan, if any, you need) before you start applying to save a lot of grief. Of course there is the EHG grant but if you're earning a decent salary it's probably just a meagre figure that won't help much. The grants for family nucleus is much more attractive for obvious reasons.
  
• Keep your old pay slips. You need the past 12 months pay slips or income letter, also your CPF contribution history and previous year CPF Yearly Statement, but these can be obtained online.
  
• I repeat again, do your homework. At first I had this stupid mentality that everything will work out on its own but that's not gonna do you any favours. This is a major purchase. Choose your flat before the appointment, work out your finances, keep your documents, apply early and you won't have as many nasty surprises/disappointments.
  
• Sales Launch
  

BTO Sales is launched. You are given one week to apply for the flat. I recommend applying as soon as you can because I think the ballot number is based on order of application. At this point you should start preparing your HDB Housing Loan Eligibility letter (HLE) from HDB, or Approval in Principle (AIP) from the bank, whichever institution you decide to loan from. I can't advise on this because I'm using neither. I don't like borrowing money heh.

• Ballot results

Wait for results. After about two weeks, the ballot results will be out. If you sign up for the SMS alert they may or may not alert you via SMS (Or be late about it). You can check the HDB portal periodically for the status, or if you check daily thread people will usually post about their ballot number being too high/quite small. Apparently this is like tioing TOTO. My first time round applying it was Sales of balance flats and I failed to get any number. This time my ballot number was three digits, a little bigger than the number of flats available, so I'm quite lucky I guess. Even if your number is like 20 more than the ballot number, you might still have a chance because the numbers before your might cancel their application.
This is where I got a little confused. I excitedly went into the HDB portal, clicked on my ballot number and there was a button for open booking of flats. It stated that "there are no available flats left for singles left". So of course I thought I no longer had a chance in booking a flat but...

• Invitation to book your flat

You receive an invitation to book your flat. Mucho confusion. I thought no more flats for singles left? During the days up to the appointment date so many wild thoughts were running through my mind because of the earlier message. But I decided to chalk it up as a glitch in the system and went ahead and prepared the documents. Even now, after I have booked my flat I still have this innate fear that it wouldn't be approved because of this.
You have to download the application form, annexes, HLE or AIP, required documents, EHG application form, Appointment letter (You need this for gaining access to HDB sales office during Covid period. I'm not sure about before or after Covid). Just print out everything la better be safe than sorry. This is where your pay slips for past 12 months come into play cos you need them for grant application. Try to clear your date and time for the appointment because you can't change it. Alternatively, you can ask somebody else to go in your stead but why would you entrust that to someone else, unless it's your SO or someone with a good grasp on what you want.
My SIL and bro drove me to the site before the appointment date so that I could make an informed choice on which is the ideal unit among those left. I highly recommend visiting the site before your appointment. Study the site map and unit placements to choose your unit. As my ballot number was greater than the available flats, the good units (no blocked view, corner unit, higher floor) were all taken liao so left with some that had shortcomings, but what to do. I didn't want to waste my chance. You can check the units that are still available on your HDB web portal, when you click on "application status" there will be a "Flats available" option.

i think like check the night before (when selection has closed for the day), then make up to 30 choices, depends on what time is your appointment slot. also once you reach the counter, yell your unit so the hdb officer can 'chope' the unit while she processes your documents.

• Go for the appointment

Go for your appointment. And bring all those documents your printed. Check and double check the night before. I put mine in a folder. Do not be late for your appointment lest your flat choice be potong jalaned by someone else. If you miss the appointment time they'll give your slot to the next person in the ballot queue. Then you gg might have to wait until 12noon or something. While you are waiting, there will be displays on monitors at the waiting area mounted on the pillars, and you can see for yourself what are the flats slowly getting booked by other applicants. Don't think it really helps with the jitters leh. Really macam betting TOTO or at the stock exchange. LMAO.

• Pay option fee, submit documents etc

eEdit: When you reach the counter, yell out your unit number so that the officer can chope your unit immediately to prevent someone else getting to it. Because there are other people booking flats concurrently. (contributed by u/brownriver12) The HDB officer will process your documents and ask you to sign a bunch of stuff, explain your flat price, assorted legal fees and your financing options. Pay close attention to what she or he i saying. You'll have to pay an option fee of $500, which will be refunded when you make the down payment. During this process my heart was pounding and I almost teared up because it is a poignant moment when I'm making one of the major decisions in my life.
Your grant application will be approved in one to two month's time and the appointment to sign the lease agreement about two or three four months time.
Aaaand this is where I'm at right now, waiting for the results with mixed feelings. Did I make the right decision? Too late, I've already done the deed. So now I have about two years, give or take, to plan and save for my renovation and furniture. Argh.
Please note that all the forms I stated above are correct at present time. But the government may decide to change the grant (last year got more grants for singles!) again so check again ok?

Edit 2 (31 Dec 2020): I went to check on the status a week or so ago and my EHG grant got approved! Now waiting for the appointment.
Edit 3:Went for signing of lease agreement on Tuesday, 2nd Feb 2021. This appointment not as strict as selection flats. You can reschedule the appointment if you can't make it (Which I did cos i had flu symptoms the day before and thought i should see a doctor and get swabbed. That's another story for another day..) Your flat isn't going anywhere.
Bring your ic and mobile phone wth singpass 2FA setup. Aso have your bank account number ready so that they can refund you the deposit. You can choose between refunding to your bank account or cpf. Ofc choose bank account la otherwise i won't be able to touch it at all.
At this point you're supposed to pay 10% down payment. Either through your cpf or cashier's order if not enough. Your appointment letter will explain what you need to bring. Think that % if you're taking bank loan is different. The hdb officer should have explained to you when you selected the flat so pay attention.
The officer will tell you estimated date of key collection. Mine is about two years later Jan 2023. Then after appointment go eat Jollibee at novena one station away.
Yay!!! Time to look for reno ideas. See y'all in two year's time. I'll probably make a new post if I'm still around.

In addition, other revenue flows will become available to us as we build our user base and launch our video player this Q1.

Advertiser Partnership Update
Esports Fight Club will require players to use VRA to purchase subscriptions via several payment systems: VeraWallet, PayPal and Credit Cards (although some tournaments are free for promotional purposes). Adoption and scale are key to the success of Esports Fight Club. We’ve made a lot of progress on the platform and are confident we will continue to see further growth in terms of users and a ton more exposure to the platform, and our token $VRA.Talking about adoption and scale… the next question will answer that!~Q6) What is the current Marketing Strategy? How do we differ from other tournament websites?
After creating mass-scale events around the world, we are focusing on adoption and community this year. Spending $10,000 on a big one-time prize pool to attract 1000 teams sounds good in theory. But, after careful planning, forecasting and testing, the results show that the best way is to spread the tournaments out so we reach a larger number of audiences. This consistency and large reach will attract much more than just 1000 teams over a period of time. The best place to do this is by sponsoring streamers and influencers, who each have thousands or even hundreds of thousands of fans.
For the past week, for example, we’ve been running a Valorant Community Tournament with Esports Fight Club’s first partnered streamer, Mika Daime. The turnout has been massive! Qualifier 1 was filled up with the max slots so quickly, that we had to create a Qualifier 2 just to fit all the teams in.

1. Most streamers we aim to partner with can easily bring in 64 or 256 teams to a community tournament hosted by Esports Fight Club, for a fraction of the price
2. With the same budget as a big tournament, of the $10,000 we would have spent on a single tournament, we can obtain approximately 540% more users by repurposing that budget for the influencer and streamer tournaments.

Q8) Have you changed your business model? Because at the beginning it was mainly about publishers.
Our fundamental model has not changed: Video publishers attract audiences to watch video content and ads. Users are rewarded for it, thereby increasing engagement and monetization.
This model has not changed. What has changed is the type of video publisher we are pursuing. Prior to COVID-19, we pursued traditional publishers. With COVID-19, we saw the opportunity to pursue gaming publishers and more specifically esports publishers. More importantly, we created our own tournament platform: esportsfightclub.com. This allows us to control our own environment, launch our own proprietary video player, own our video content, run ads on our player, and charge subscription fees as well as take tournament fees.
But actually publishers and content are publishers and content whether it’s gaming or news.

We are adding automated withdrawals for small amounts to the roadmap but first have to complete the swap and add the security protocols. We won’t risk our users’ investments.

As to Cardano — the liquidity is really small compared to ETH alts. For example on Kucoin it’s volume is less than $2m per day. Even on OKEX it’s only $3m. 50% of Celsius’ volume is on Uniswap which is the majority of the liquidity and is not on any Tier 1 exchanges. Aside from the lack of features that we need for PoV, after our last experience, we are very reluctant to join with mainnets that are generally illiquid. Celsius’s solution is to provide the liquidity themselves through Uniswap which is limiting in our view. We believe sticking with Ethereum is the right way to go and the market seems to agree with this as well.
Q15) The new VOD platform, when is it going to be finished and in use?
We are working on it now and expect it to meet the roadmap target of Q1: see verasity.io for the roadmap.

The Esports Fight Club platform is fully self-managed, so yes, you could set up large tournaments and be the admin and sponsor. We would definitely like to see this happen by our community members. This quarter, our admins and developers are focused on A/B testing different tournaments with multiple communities to see if we are missing any critical features demanded by gamers. Q20) Asking about the “Instant buy and stake feature”. If someone buys $VRA using this system, there is no transaction on the blockchain. You say you buy directly on exchanges but no proof.
Buy backs of VRA do not happen instantly and we don’t announce buy backs in advance to avoid speculation. We don’t share our VeraWallet addresses as we have stated before. We are not going to provide speculators with tools to make a margin on each purchase.

In the Total VRA Supply, line 9, this VRA is already taken into account as part of both total supply and circulating supply. It does not increase either. We specifically provide for ALL Foundation tokens, allocated and unallocated, as part of the current circulating supply so this is NOT adding to the circulating supply.
Q23) Asking about adoption figures. You claim to have had 8M people looking at your gaming videos (mostly fakes views as the counter earned millions in hours).
The adoption figures were not fake or exaggerated, it is important to understand that this number is a combination of different metrics, all of which ensure one thing: People viewed our live tournament page. This number includes:

• Unique gaming viewers landing on our page to be able to find the stream in their native language (English, Korean, Hindi, Mandarin and Nepali)
• Social media followers and curious gamers who landed on our page after subscribing to our contests, looking for airdrops or just by following our different marketing campaigns. These account for the steady and regular growth of our landing page as we ran these campaigns all-around the globe and 24/7 at the end of the tournament. The livestream was embedded onto the homepage of the website, so everyone who visited our website was also able to watch the tournament
• Lastly, the contestants, productions and influencer’s traffic from sharing our streams was what mostly caused big traffic, especially during the play-off and later stages of the tournament.

Stripe, Tencent Games, PayPal. The truth is any website can integrate these payment/connexion modules without partnership. You just need to read their website and implement it on your website.
Of course, you can add Stripe and PayPal to any website, but try adding them to a crypto-based website and see how far you get. There are no crypto products websites or related services (other than specific financial services) that are supported by Stripe and PayPal because they are not allowed. To obtain these payment services, you need to have special permission and follow a rigid protocol. And Stripe expressed interest in working with Esports Fight Club to reach out to video publishers with EFC to give us access to video publishers worldwide.
As to TencentGames, you need to get their specific permission for certain tournament events and follow their rules. We would be unable to use their logo and name in our marketing material without this. It’s not simply signing up for them. So yes we consider this a partnership because they plan on additional events with us which they now support.
Working with major brands including PUBGM, Tencent, Athena Gaming and Warmania gave us the clout to include major esport teams in our tournaments who will participate in future tournaments as well: FaZe Clan, Orange, T1, Elementrix, Nova, Onic and others. And now because of the history, Blizzard is prepared to provide licenses for all their major games.
We are also in discussion with peripheral manufacturers to support our marketplace launch later this year. As soon as agreements are reached, we will jointly announce sponsored product peripherals that will be rewarded in our tournaments.
Q25) Some things on your roadmap get pushed forward. Why did do you do this?
Our development team has been together doing projects for over ten years. This is normal in large scale development projects. For example, we decided after the large Esports Fight Club tournaments we put on that we needed to finalize and launch the Video sharing platform prior to some other features on the roadmap because without it we would not be able to take advantage of many opportunities including monetization opportunities of the exclusive VOD content that only we could re-publish and add ads to. This pushed certain product features into Q2. Another example is PoV. Initially we thought we would go with proprietary blockchain because there was no other solution that would allow us to support PoV. That changed with the release by Ethereum of ERC777. As a result PoV timeline targets changed so that it corresponds to the release of ERC777 as well as the ability to use it for the Video sharing platform. So in effect, the video-sharing platform came in _much earlier than expected_which pushed out other features/products to accommodate this change. Business decisions and external events impact on the roadmap and it would do Verasity and the community an injustice if we just blindly followed a roadmap that becomes slightly outdated every quarter and greatly outdated every year. It is this flexibility that allows Verasity to take advantage of new information and technologies in real-time. And to push out new products earlier in the roadmap such as the video-sharing platform.

When will it be a Patented POV?
The average time for a patent to be granted is 3 years. We’ve just started our third year as a pending application so we hope it will be in 2021, however our patent lawyers have told us to expect further delays due to covid. Fortunately this won’t stop the release of Proof of View which can go ahead with ‘patent pending’ protection.

Q27) Will there be an app for download on your phone soon? For Staking. Feeling a little insecure have it online on your website
Actually, our mweb and web applications are much more secure than a mobile app. Mobile apps are much easier to hack. Although we have not been hacked, some users have been hacked via their mobile phones but because we have a manual delay, we were able to stop the loss of tokens. The good news is that now with the swap to ERC777 we can disable any wallets that have stolen VRA and return the VRA to the original user. We do have mobile apps on the roadmap but won’t likely support staking because of the security issue and it is not a priority for us.

Financial status company. There have been coins sold for listing on an exchange (still to come?). Was this something that was not planned (like extra opportunity to get listed) or are funds becoming empty?
Current resources held by Verasity fund the project roadmap for the next 12 months. We forecast reaching profitability in 2021 which will finance the continuing runway thereafter. As you point out not all listing opportunities were included in the forecast and we stated that: “In the future, additional listings and expenses may require sales of VRA from the Foundation Reserve”. Q29) The VoD update is a little bit unclear for me. Maybe you can tell some more about it. To the looks of it, it is a mix between YouTube and twitch but with PoV to earn $VRA.
PoV on VODs is a key feature for us and for our large ad-stack network. While we are growing our partnerships with community tournaments and adding more games and influencers on EsportsFightClub: we want our reruns to be monetized, available at all times on our proprietary platform and browsing page. Think of it the way Twitch highlights previous streamer’s lives automatically but on a larger and customizable library for viewers to earn VRA and for Verasity to monetize via its ad stack.
And we own several terabytes of gaming and esports video content which will launch with the new video platform in Q1. This is actually massive, because on launch we will have a ton of video content to monetize!
Q30) You seem to have many products but I don’t understand how they work together?

We did! Exeedme is an exciting project revolving around gamers personal skill and players betting against themselves (user-centric) that is just at its very inception. They are not competitors as our model (Community, content and tournament centered) has broader purpose and we dont and wont support betting because it will be rejected by many of our partners.
Crowns Token, from Seascape, is a DeFi economy blockchain made for developers building their own online games but who cannot/don’t want to focus on the technical transactional side. Although they are very promising for simple browser and other types of games, they are just not targeting the Esports market and offer, at best, support for upcoming indie-browser games studios.
We would not be able to partner with Exeedme because of betting restrictions but Crowns could be interesting if the games developed are popular with our viewers.
Q34) Are there any plans in the near future (next several months) to list on an exchange that allows full KYC trading for US citizens (e.g. Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Binance US, etc.)?
This is hard for us. The regulatory environment in the US is not friendly. Since we are not regulated in the US, the risk of listing on a US exchange and the SEC bringing a claim is quite high. At this time we are avoiding this. Lets see what happens with the new SEC Chair who is quite familiar with blockchain. Should he articulate straight forward rules that can be followed and which will not be changed every couple of months, we will consider it then.

Very important issue for us and the community. We fully appreciate the necessity for additional volume and liquidity. After the last exchange hack and issues with OKEX, we were thrown off balance but had expected to list on a new exchange by now. Mistakenly we announced prematurely and then ran into the necessity of completing the VRA token swap before we list on a new exchange. Obviously, we want to now avoid having to swap tokens on a new exchange. So right after the majority of the current exchanges we are listed on complete the swap (this month), we will continue with our listing plans. We are well on the way with 2 exchanges but don’t think it’s prudent to provide more information until they announce the listing themselves. The expectation is still for at least one exchange in Q1. Please bear with us on this. We will get there.

Q38) Is it possible to create something like a create your own tournament where I can play a 1vs1(or 2v2 5vs5) against another player(s) in any game anytime (like in 30 minutes) and where I can set for example a winning price of 100k VRA. and both players have to send 50k before the game to a smart contract and afterward it automatically gets sent to the winner?
Esports Fight Club allows users to create their own tournaments choosing from the available games list. We are constantly working on expanding the list of available games and are open for suggestions. The players deposit VRA to the Esports Fight Club account and use these funds to send money to the prize pool. It's quite simple to set up and you can do it for any amount and any number of players and as admin, you have complete control of the size of the pot, how it is shared in % for winners when to start, etc. Its a fully self managed platform that works now. Just go in and set it up today!
Q39) Hi Mark, regarding the plans for in-game advertising and in-game rewards this year, could you describe your vision on this? Is Verasity currently discussing this topic with certain game companies, and how exactly would it work in practice once achieved? Any details you can share with us would be highly appreciated!
The way we view in-game ads is our ability to provide our logo or some other image that would be part of the game interface, such as the floor or walls. This already exists and is popular. We are in discussions now with game developers to add Verasity/VRA. This is a high powered marketing tool that will get our name into many gamers’ faces. These are native images in effect. For advertisers that want to use native images inside our broadcasts or VOD, they get stitched into the ad server in parallel to the stream and we get paid for the ad inventory. In-game rewards are still in development but the vision is for users to be able to click on an object in the game and get rewarded for doing so, not dissimilar to clicking on an add and getting a higher CPM.

It's definitely worth it for a slow but steady earner. I checked mine quickly for new offers each day and chose to complete a new cog roughly on a weekly basis. It works well on both phone and desktop.
